Item # 1A: MULTI VIEW CAMERA

 

1. This color camera shall be a stationary mount pan, tilt, and zoom camera. The camera is to be mounted on a stationary structure such as a pole, site trailer, or existing building. The camera shall be capable of panning 170 degrees, tilting 30 degrees, and a 12-power zoom lens.

2. This camera shall posses the ability to be programmed to a maximum of 8 preset positions by qualified ProjectView personnel. Camera and components will off a site view on the Internet that may be updated a minimum of four times per hour. A daily image of the site will be archived on the ProjectView servers such that an entire project animated GIF video may be provided on CD upon job completion.

3. This camera shall be supplied with high quality lens equipped with auto iris to protect camera components from UV damage and offer high quality views. A polarized shield will be provided for the protective dome enclosure. ProjectView systems will be provided with 12-volt AC power adapters and the appropriate corresponding UPS systems and or surge protection devices.

4. Standard mounting hardware will be provided with installation. Protective enclosures specifically designed to protect cameras and all associated hardware from potentially damaging weather conditions will be provided. Cooling fans and heaters shall be included in all enclosures.

5. Included in this service shall be a project specific web site and Internet address. This site may be linked to other sites if approved by the owner. The web site may be available for public viewing or may be secured with access afforded to only those with authorized passwords. ProjectView will provide all access necessary to the appropriate local Internet Service Provider.

6. Camera requires a 110v duplex power outlet in close proximity to the installation. At a minimum the connectivity required to the component s shall be a standard business phone line. DSL, cable, ISDN, T1, or other high-speed access is acceptable and will render the camera controllable from remote Internet connected computers.

7. ProjectView will arrange and coordinate selection and installation of high-speed access if available and desired.

Item # 1B: ProjectView Showcase Software

 

1. ProjectView “Showcase” is a special software package that enables digital images to be uploaded to a project specific web site as needed. Authorized individuals, with password protected access, may update digital images to their web site from any Internet connected PC at any time. A bank of 45 images is the standard package relative to each site and may be changed at any time.

2. The project specific web site will be designed and hosted by ProjectvView Services. Images will be available for authorized viewing by without the need for e-mail access. Images are located on a secure server. By locating the site on ProjectView servers neither storage space nor security issues are associated with client internal systems.

3. Job superintendents may acquire images and upload in a matter of minutes for owners, architects, project managers, subs, etc. to view.

Item # 1C: WEATHER MONITORING DEVICE

 

1. ProjectView will supply a Weather Monitor #2 with additional hardware and components to enable system communication through local Internet Service Providers to the ProjectView servers.

2. Information gathered and accumulated will be stored and made available for access by authorized personnel. The remote monitoring device shall be mounted on a galvanized pole. Each unit shall contain a weather-resistant shelter with junction box and or sensor interface module. An AC power adapter shall be provided for the monitor system and for the site LCD console.

3. The system shall be NIST certified and all information gathered will be time and date stamped and archived on ProjectView servers. Information shall be gathered and logged hourly. All data gathered shall be available to the owner and the complete project archive will be presented upon project completion.

4. Rainfall gathered at the monitoring device shall be accurate within .01 inches. Outside temperature shall be accurate to .05 degrees Mercury. Anemometer shall be certified accurate within 5% at wind speeds less than 75 mph.

5. System shall be delivered, mounted and installed by trained authorized personnel. Ethernet 10 Base TRJ45 twisted pair wiring. Real time digital display console shall be placed in a convenient location. (Preferably job site trailer)

6. Monitor system requires an 110v duplex power outlet in close proximity to the installation. At a minimum the connectivity required to the components shall be a standard business phone line. DSL, cable, ISDN, T1, or other high-speed access is acceptable.

7. ProjectView will arrange and coordinate selection and installation of high-speed access if available and desired.

8. A completed project CD will be provided with all weather data accumulated in the archives.
